* MAKE SURE SCENE TIMING IS CORRECT!!!!!
* FRAME RATES - Mixamo / C4D Project / MD / UE4 - make sure they all match
1 - Upload Model to Mixamo and rig
2 - Download Animation 1 from Mixamo (choose frame rate)
3 - Download Tpose and other animations (without skin)
4 - Import Animation 1 into C4D (the control rig doesn't work well with Tpose only) 5 - Convert takes to new document 6 - Reset bind pose (weight tags) 7 - Disable animation in timeline 8 - Load Mixamo Control Rig (Character) 9 - Create bones (Legs: ctrl+ shift // Arms: ctrl ) 10 - Click adjust tab 11 - Delete bindings if any there 12. Fix knee bend issue 13. Select root in outliner + controls in tab: Retarget all 14. Drag geometry into weights tag and click transfer weights
* The Rig should now work

EXPORTING Alembic to UE4 / Marvelous Designer *Once all animation is complete *Make sure you have texture sections applied
* FRAME RATES - Mixamo / C4D Project / MD / UE4 - make sure they all match 1 - In timeline - Motion System > Bake all + Convert Layer to animation (Is this needed?) 2- Add all animated geometry into a new null 3 - Create connect object > uncheck weld 4 - Add new null into objects section 5 - Select connect object 6 - Export as Alembic - Ogawada / Selection only - FRAME RATE!! *You should now have a one piece animated alembic file that you can use in
UE4 and MD. You may have to export a less complicated versions for MD though.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- IMPORTING / ACTIVATING Alembic to UE4 (Sequencer) * Create new folder
* FRAME RATES - Mixamo / C4D Project / MD / UE4 - make sure they all match
1 - Import alembic file - Geo Cache / Create mats / Select flatten tracks?? 2 - Drag Alembic into scene (if not already there) 3 - Drag alembic from outliner into sequencer 4 - Add GeoCacheComponent track + Geometry Cache track *Your alembic file should now play in the level sequence
